The collection, sorting and repair of EPAL pallets are of central importance to the functioning of the EPAL pallet pool. EPAL therefore has more than 1,750 EPAL-licensed companies which collect and sort EPAL pallets and repair them where necessary. To maintain the high quality of EPAL pallets, only EPAL repair companies are authorised to carry out repairs of EPAL pallets.
Together, EPAL’s licensed companies form the EPAL network for the collection, sorting and repair of EPAL pallets and ensure that no EPAL pallet is lost.
If companies receive goods delivered on EPAL pallets and do not need the EPAL pallets for their own logistics processes, they can return the EPAL pallets to EPAL network partners or arrange for collection. Other companies that require EPAL pallets for their goods logistics can obtain new and used EPAL pallets from the more than 1,750 EPAL network partners. The large number of EPAL network partners ensures short delivery routes, fast deliveries and collections, and competitive prices. In this way, EPAL combines sustainability, quality and cost-efficiency.
